Every year, Smithfield United Church of Christ offers a mid-day June Strawberry Festival and a September Apple Festival (both on Strawberry Way, weather permitting), and a December Cookie Walk Bake Sale (in the Social Hall). All welcome shoppers, passers-by, and area business folks for an inexpensive meal and a time to step aside from the busy-ness of the day.
