Sean joined Smithfield in 2010 as the church’s office manager. Soon after joining, Sean brought with him his passion for writing and directing theatrical productions moving his theater company to Smithfield. Housed in the lower level of Smithfield United Church of Christ, Sean’s theater company was soon renamed Smithfield Street Theater. Each year, Smithfield Street Theater brings between six and seven plays to the Pittsburgh downtown community.
