At Smithfield United Church of Christ, we are blessed with a truly awe-inspiring choir under the direction of our very own Music Director and talented Organist, Jim Varner.  Originally from a small town near Johnstown, Jim has always been animated by music. After studying singing, piano, and organ at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Jim moved to Vienna where he pursued his passion for music. Jim is a private voice teacher and an avid reader with interests in theology and philosophy.
