"The Children's Window"
This much loved window was lost in the January 1, 2007, fire that engulfed the Social Hall, originally the Children's Chapel. In the early 1960's the window also suffered fire damage. It was then the Reverend Curtis Beach pointed out that all of the children in the window were white. This, he said, was neither representative of the congregation's commitment to inclusiveness nor of Jesus's love for ALL of the children of God. So as part of the restoration of the window, one of the children was given a brown face (the child third from the left).
