The recipe for a successful celebration in an empty storefront:

Preparation time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Start with 3 packages of balloons – gold, maroon, and black,
a tank of helium,
3 rolls of matching ribbon,
and one pair of scissors (what, only one?).



Have plenty of tape to hang photo posters of members of the congregation.

Mix with a crew of eager volunteers.

Combine meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, finger sandwiches, chicken fingers, vegetable trays, and fruit
with desserts, desserts, and – desserts.
