Children's Chapel and Pilgrim Adventures
A special time in a special place for children age 3 - Grade 2

They've left the regular worship service following the Time with Children and are on their way to their very own worship center. Part of the adventure is getting to the classroom located on an enclosed balcony below the Social Hall and above the gymnasium. Starting in the church's main entry way, they follow the signs down the stairs, down more stairs, around the corner, across the hall, and up the stairs to . . .

this place where, on this first day of Children's Chapel in September 2008, they have gathered for their very own time of worship led by Reverend Liddy. At the center of their worship "table" is a bible, a candle, a key.

On this day the children sing their welcome Jesus song, hear the story of David the shepherd boy,

 

and begin to learn the 23rd Psalm with words and in sign language.

The time of worship ends and the first Pilgrim Adventure begins with the appearance of a very special guest. It's the Apostle Paul! He's come to tell them the story of how he learned about Jesus and how he loved Jesus so much he traveled from city to city to tell people about him. Each Sunday the children will travel with Paul as he preaches and teaches.
